This identity comes fully to life on Dark City, Tim Brink & The Rising’s latest album, released in October 2025. The ten-track album blends country, rock, and gospel with powerful instrumentation and a deeply cinematic atmosphere. Co-written in part with guitarist Samuel Busque, Dark City unfolds like a film, exploring themes of revenge, regret, forgiveness, resilience, and the grey areas of the human experience. Tracks such as “Borrowed Time,” “Red Sand,” “Black River,” and “The Boy Was Right” showcase this approach, where raw rock intensity meets a more introspective sensitivity.
A versatile musician and powerhouse vocalist, Tim Brink has honed his craft since childhood, mastering guitar, drums, and harmonica. His journey has taken him across Canada and Germany on tour with Pete Möss, to being named Best Singer at the 2005 Emergenza Festival, and to reaching the finals of La Voix IV in 2015. Recognized for his exceptional voice and commanding stage presence, he was also considered for the position of lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots.
