During the 7th season of “La Voix” the judges were mesmerized by Emmanuelle Boucher’s talent. The Journal de Montreal described her as the “hidden gem” of the season. During her cover of Ce soir on danse à Naziland, Alex Nevsky was more than happy to turn around in her favour, convinced by her outstanding performance.
Emmanuelle has paved her way through the music business mostly within the corporate event industry and as an interpret for groups such as Alter Ego, Glam, Electrik and Discothèque. This gave her the opportunity to tour Canada and the States as well as at the other end of world in China. The song “Toi” that she performed on the album Alter Ego in 2013 found its way onto heavy rotation on commercial radio for 2 consecutive months. In 2011 she received the award “Coup de Coeur du public” during the “Cégeps en spectacle” contest, but it was her appearance on the 7th season of “La Voix” that gave her the itch to go solo and to create a sound and style of her own.
Having grown up with the sounds of Shania Twain and Laurence Jalbert she now dives into the world of country music. With her velvet voice laced with power, get ready to feel like you’re on a road trip under the Nashville sun.
